One of the services in which we have specialized is in providing our clients with the best artificial lift systems for the oil industry, an objective that was consolidated with the installation of the K9 motor-compressor, one of the largest in Latin America.

The project for the supply and installation of motor compressors at the Chimire 1 (K-9) plants, in the San Tomé District – Ayacucho Division, included the development and commissioning of the expansion of the compression capacity in the Ayacucho Division, for the production lift by gas lift.

These works suggest the increase of a volumetry associated with the traditional areas of the Orinoco Oil Belt and the decrease of the losses by venting.

This system was developed by the renowned US brand Ariel in conjunction with Caterpillar and has German packaging technology, allowing 1,200 barrels of crude to be incorporated.

The K9 had the respective acceptance tests developed by the manufacturer, which included control readings, temperature and gas pressure, for its subsequent technical inspection, which was carried out by the Caterpillar brand Lafayette Enginer Center, located in Indiana, United States. .

The German company PSE Engineering GMBH, located in Qüackemburg, Germany, also carried out factory acceptance tests of the motor-compression system, for its subsequent delivery and installation.
